What are the symbols & origin of this gold ring?

Any help would be appreciated. This ring was found in a jewelry lot from an auction. The inside of the ring has "1/30 14K Gold Shell" written on the inside, along with some type of symbol with arrows pointing to it on both sides.

Looks like it is 14k gold plated...

I agree too. It does say "14K Gold shell". I'm just trying to figure out what the symbol on the top means and if the designs on the side mean anything too. They seem to resemble Asian characters, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

To me it looks like an Aztec or Inca design of sorts !, that may be a letter " A " on the top for someone's name !. Been a very nice ring when new ... Alan.
