Need help identifing hallmark on my silver pendant

Postby KirstyLucas » Wed Sep 28, 2011 12:31 pm

I recently inherited a silver pendant, with the hallmarks of a anchor and lion and the letter h, from this i worked out the it was Birmingham sterling silver and is from around 1907. however i can't work out what the hallmark ' U.C° ' stands for, also there is the number 741 engraved into it.
im just wondering if anyone could give me any more information about these hallmarks and what they mean? I'd be very grateful!

Welcome to the forum.

Looks like The Uricura Company.
Entered mark at Birmingham in August of 1907.
