Chess game pieces.

Salt and pepper cellars......maybe? The plug in the bottom is missing......maybe? Just guessing-

At first I though one looked like a trumpet mouthpiece, actually both do. However that could also be chess pieces. If from a chess set, I would suspect they are the king and queen, they look to have the right proportions, would love to see what he entire set would look like.
