This cup is supposed to be made by Johann Friedrich Ehe aus Nuernberg (working 1773-1808). He is know for these cups ("Kugelfussbecher mit Schuppendekor"). What I don't trust about this cup is that it is not made out of one plate, but out of two. That is not the oldfashioned way. Could he have been that modern or is this a fake?
