Cigarette Case 1945

I'm trying to determine the maker of this cigarette case.

It measures approx 8cm x 6cm x 1cm.

It is stamped with the Sterling Silver and Date stamp in the lid and has the following set of marks in the base.

I believe the maker might by Johnson Matthey but I'm not certain whether they were producing consumer goods in 1945 in Birmingham.
Any help would be appreciated.

My references show that mark for J. Moseley & Company.
Entered at Birmingham in January 1921.
