The date letter is for 1938. G.A.S. stands for George Arnold Stoll who was the Managing Director of the Elite Bracelet Manufacturing Co. Ltd. of 37, Portland Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, they later moved to the Regent Works, Regent Street, Birmingham.

You're very welcome. The date letter is a 'n'.

Stolkase appears to have been a trade name used by the Elite Bracelet Manufacturing Co Ltd.
In 1934 G A Stoll actually registered " Stolkase BRITISH MADE G.A.S." as a sponsor's mark at the Chester Assay Office. There are also two other marks of his registered at Chester containing "Stolkase" with variations from the one shown above.

Thanks for that but I'm assuming you have made a type error, the mark reads STOLKACE and not stolkase as you have typed or is that one of the variants that they have registered?

Sorry for that. The correct spelling is STOLKACE (even if it is on a CASE made by STOLL!).
