Maricela Hallmark? Partially worn

Found a beautiful little brooch below. Appears to be in the style of Maricela but the signature is partly worn off and hard to read. Any second opinions or other helpful input would be wonderful!
Signature appears to read:
STERLING Maricela
925 under the M

There are usually more marks on Mexican pieces, I think it's another non-Mex name.
