Antonio Pineda?

Hi, I just purchased this lovely set and think it's by Antonio Pineda. The marks vary on the different pieces with only one earring having the mark that I believe is for Antonio Pineda. I would like to verify that others agree it's Antonio Pineda's work. Second, should I polish it? The earrings were converted to posts however the original screwbacks are there so that can be reversed with no damage done.

The mark is AE inside a heart shaped M, not the Pineda mark.
It's sometimes found on Rancho Alegre and Estela Popowski pieces but I believe they also have their marks, not just the AEM.
I've found it on many diverse items, makes me think it's a shop mark, not a maker.
