Tiffany Sterling Year & Pattern Type Identification

Hello! Could you please help me identify the year of production and what this is used for? Is it a Plate, Platter or Tureen?

Thank You so very much but may I confirm that chart declares this was made around 1894?

the piece is around 15" long and about an inch and a half deep. Please excuse my approximations, I have a makeshift measuring device at the moment.

I'd say 1893 and guess that you have a platter. Maybe someone else can give a better qualified answer. It's a great looking piece though.

I'd say the pattern was made in 1893 and the piece was made between then and 1902.

Thanks Salmoned. I had a feeling there was more to the story than I was putting together. It's pretty simple once the obvious is highlighted.
