Faberge Spoon Hallmarks

I recently purchased this spoon and I I would like member's opinions as to whether the marks on this spoon are that of Faberge:

Please take some better pictures of the marks. Pictures like the last one of your images. It is very difficult to say anything certain from your blurry picture. Sharpen the image and magnify it to the at least double, preferably more. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your replies. I am trying to take better pictures of the marks, but it is proving to be very difficult as they are very small.

I have tried using a magnifying glass and the camera's zoom but they always come out very blurry. Any suggestions on how to take better ones? These are the best I could take:

I'm new to this forum, but I've taken plenty of close photos for eBay purposes. I suggest you use a good quality digital camera with a Macro (close focusing) facility. That should allow you to focus at a distance of around 2-3 inches. Most cameras also allow you to set the image resolution to high, medium or low - use the highest setting, because you'll need to enlarge a small section later. Arrange your item so that a good light source is shining diagonally across the hallmark - for example on a table in front of a window on a sunny day. This will give good shadows and reveal the small details. Daylight also means a fast shutter speed, which reduces blurring. Even a bright interior light is much less than daylight, so the shutter speed will be much slower, which means more blurring. You also need the camera to be very steady - ideally on a tripod, but if not, try to stack some books or other objects around the item so you can rest the camera on something solid while you press the shutter. If that isn't possible, brace your hands so they aren't just "hanging in the air" , to reduce camera shake as much as possible.

Once you have a photo with good detail and contrast, cut away the unwanted parts by using your PC's photo-editing software to crop the picture down to just a small square showing the hallmark. Once you remove the other unwanted bits, that small square will enlarge when you finally post the photo onto your photo hosting website. (That's why you need high resolution at the start).

I’m a spoon collector and I’ve seen a lot of this type of fakes coming from Bulgaria… I’m sorry to tell you this. If you study the articles of the forums about Faberge, maybe the next one will not be a fake.
