Postby buckler » Mon Feb 28, 2011 10:54 am

7 February 1810 - Grimwade gives him apprenticed to Edward Coleman as watch finisher but Goldsmiths Hall records gives him as Richard Coleman ( Apprentice Book 10 page 163)

His first address of 12, Well Street, Cripplegate had been the address of several bucklemakers previously
John Essex and James Atkins (1791- 1792)
James Atkins ( 1792 - 1815)
Theodosia Ann Atkins (1815 - 1817)

9 October 1813
IGI records the marriage of a Charles Rawlings and Charlotte Edwards at Saint James, Westminster, London, England - perhaps the silversmith but seems unlikely as he would have still been an apprentice .

9 October 1863
Death of Charles Rawlings (according to John P. Fallon, Marks of London Goldsmiths and Silversmiths 1837- 1914)

Parish records have the same dates as given for death and burial, the 9th and 15th of October respectively.
