Inland Revenue Board of Stamps transcript 21/56 of 1757 records the apprenticeship of an Edward King to James King of Westminster ,Goldsmith. May be the right man but it seems a long time since apprenticeship

Daily Advertiser 20th June 1778 carries a classified advert for a tutor and mentions with other addresses " Mr King's, Buckle Maker at the Half Moon, No 26, Dukes Court , St Martins Lane"

Q. Was [sic] you robbed of any coat buttons at any time, or waistcoat buttons? - I was.
Q. Where did you lose them from? - From my shop.
Q. Where do you live? - In Duke's-court, St. Martin's-lane
