London Gazette of 21 March 1761 reports that Joseph Dalley, formerly of Maiden Lane, Wood Street, late of Shovel Court ,Wood Street, Silver Bucklemaker and Carver, was in the Wood Street Compter in 1761.
Perhaps a lost entry silversmith. This is the Parish of St Michael Wood Street, just over the road (Gutter Lane ) from Goldsmiths Hall .
