May have been the Joseph Coles who the Leathersellers Company records show as being apprenticed on 11 Oct 1769 to William Coles (Pater Noster Row) Silversmith (and Leatherseller) . Whether this William Coles is the silversmith whose last know address was in Pissing Alley is uncertain but likely. See viewtopic.php?f=74&t=23175
