Chunky Silver ring - help with identifying?

Postby SJD » Wed Jan 05, 2011 6:35 pm

Hi all :)

I bought this beautiful silver ring in a charity shop, and am curious to know its history.

It's very similar to a very famous Cartier design...

The makers mark is 'JCL(small D), or rather, JC Ltd

The first hallmark isn't too clear, especially not on the photo but it looks like a faint smiley face! The next one is the sterling mark, and I'm assuming the last mark is the date mark, it's a fancy 'X' with a small line through the middle.

If anyone can help me identify it, that would be amazing.

Thanks :)

Hello »SJD«

Similarity is a marketing instrument of Plagiarism.

I haven't found yet a name behind »JC Ltd«.

The »x« year letter stands for 1997.

Kind regards silverport
