Identifying a mark on a serving spoon dated 1862

Postby Saribo » Mon Dec 13, 2010 3:00 pm

I have a pair of these spoons, they were a gift and I'm trying to find out a bit more about them.
They are about 10" long, marked, I believe "T?URE" I can't id the next mark and finally "1862"
Also they do have the feel of Sterling or Coin, definately not plate.
I was told the horse was hand hammered.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

We will need a larger image of the maker's mark if anyone is to help.
