Silver Hallmark UK. Please help ID.

First, thanks for being here! I have been trying to ID these marks for a couple hours now and was lucky enough to find this forum!

I thinking maybe the item is to new to be listed anywhere yet? I really have no skill or knowledge when it comes to hallmarks but promise I have tried!

So the question is... Where and when are these marks from?

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

From the left the first mark is that of Joseph Smith & Sons (Birmingham) Ltd registered in 1937; the second is the sterling standard mark; the third is the town mark for Chester; the fourth is the date letter for 1946-7.
