Regina Pottery Bowl

Postby reginapottery » Sat Dec 17, 2005 12:03 am

I am researching a Dutch pottery manufacturer, Regina. The photo shows a Regina bowl, circa 1935 - 1960, and the associated marks on the bottom left. The mark on the right is from another, similar, Regina item.

TEXT ON MARK TO THE LEFT SAYS "STERLING"

Whose hallmark is it? I have searched, inconclusivly, and need help.

Kind regards,

Hello, the mark is that of Hermann Bauer from Schwaebisch-Gmuend, Germany. The silver quality used seems to indicate the 30ies or early 40ies as years of production. Best Wishes, Bahner
