Vose (George L), Southwick (Andrew S), & Co manufacturing jewelers 25 Calender is listed in the 1875 and 1876 Providence Directories. The firm continues to be listed in the Providence Directories on Eddy street from 1877 until at least 1882. By 1884 Andrew S Southwick is in another partnership and the previous partnership is no longer listed.
George L Vose & Co manufacturing jeweler 185 Eddy is listed in the 1883 and 1884 Providence Directories. From 1885 to 1894 the firm is listed at 59 Clifford. In 1895 the adddress changes to 57 Clifford, in 1896 to 80 Dexter and in 1897 59 Clifford. George L Vose & Co is last found in the 1824-25 Providence Directory and still at their 59 Clifford address.

American Directories Listings
In the 1860 Census for Washington, Fayette County, Ohio, a sixteen year old C H Ankeny is listed as a silversmith apprentice and is living in the household of a jeweler named Dionisius Furtwangler. In 1870 Charles Ankeny is listed as a jeweler in Richmond, Indiana. In 1880 Charles is listed as a jeweler in Lafayette, Indiana.

Although Charles died in 1908, C H Ankeny & Co was still listed in Lafayette Directories through at least 1920.
I cannot comment on the firm Seib & Ankeny other than to say that the style of the punch for their mark makes me think there could be a Canada connection. Truly just guessing here. Seib does not come up anywhere that I have found in jewelry or related trades. That said, it would be my pleasure to be corrected.

The U S Census's between 1790 and 1850 only give the heads of households and numbers of family members by age groups and gender. As an exception though, Philadelphia's first census which was taken in 1790 included occupations; and there may be others, but none that I have come across until today. It turns out that Moyamensing's 1820 Census also includes occupations. These three gentlemen were the only ones with occupations that are likely to be of interest on this site:

There is an Israel and an Issac Alexander next door to each other in the 1850 census for New York, New York. It appears Israel later later turned to music.
Isaac may be the gentleman who is listed in the 1870 and 1880 Census's in Washington D C listed as a jeweler and optician respectively.
Both gentlemen immigrated from Germany. Israel was born about 1808, and Isaac was born about 1818.

Codding Brothers (Arthur E, James A & Edwin A) are listed in the 1879-80 Attleboro Directory Published by E S Metcalf & Co, Providence, RI. At that time they were manufacturers of rolled plate jewelry. Their manufactory was located in the Whitney's Bldg, North Attleboro. By 1889 the Codding Brothers were in the Codding Bros Building.
About ten years after Leo A Heilborn immigrated to the United States from Germany, Codding Bros & Heilborn, manufacturing jewelers and silversmiths, were first listed in the 1892-93 Attleboro Directory. This listing was maintained until at least 1897. In 1897 the Jeweler's Circular reported that Codding Brothers and Heilborn had incorporated which possibly coincides with their name changing to Codding & Heilborn Co as it was listed in the 1899 through the 1917 Attleboro Dirctories.

Horace D Brackett is listed as a jeweler in Galesburg, Ilinois in the 1860 Census . Horace is listed on tax rolls throughout the better part of the American Civil War period and in the 1865 Illinois Census in Galesburg, so he was there at least through the middle of the decade.

H N Squire & Sons itself is first used in the directories some time between 1885 and 1887. The father and sons are listed at 97 Fulton dealing in watches and jewelry until 1889 when they are listed in the same line of business at 18 John. Horatio N Squire & Sons are listed at 18 John in New York Directories though 1894.
In 1895 the listing becomes H N Squire's Sons.
