To London in 1937/1938 imported foreign watch

Hello

Your friends watch is from a foreign country imported to GB — the marks signification in the lower row of marks is as follow:

London import mark for foreign products in Silver
Fineness mark for Sterling fineness
Date letter of London: 1937/1938

The upper mark could be an importers mark — or maker’s mark of a foreign maker. Let’s wait on this for more sounded information input.

Kind regards silverport
