Sugar case, Model 3533 by Fr. Bibus & Son of Mähr. Trübau (Moravská Trebová, Moravia, CS)

Hello

In yours photo shown second mark is nearly invisible — maybe an export mark?

Third mark you know already: Indication for .800 silver alloy, in use from 1921 (1922) — 1928 (1929).

First mark — you’ve already guess — is maker’s mark:
Fr. Bibus u. Sohn, Silber- und Electroplatedwarenfabrik, Mähr. Trübau (Company’s name of that period) (transl.: Fr. Bibus & Son, Silver- and Electroplated Products Factory).

Fr. Bibus & Son where in their country the almost important factory for products in Silver — their products style in hollowware range varied from conventional baroque to Secession style of Vienna. Their plated range was in parts the same.

For cutlery they cooperated with «Berndorfer» in Austria, and «August Wellner Söhne» in Germany.

Your object is a sugar case, model nr. 3533 (design before WW 1); 14 cm long = 5.5 “
Polished and gilded inside price was on 20 Nov. 1920: 36 Kr. 25 hr.
