Thanks for you quick responses, Stecci; do you have a particular book that you can recommend on Swiss silver? I'm particularly thrilled that the other piece, for which you also identified the maker, was made by a female silversmith, HEGI!
Regarding what you said about Neuchâtel: can you refer me to a printed source for this discussion about the disputed meaning of this marking? My source was, of course, Tardy.
Even though these pieces were originally made in Switzerland, they were hidden from the retreating Nazi forces in Italy towards the end of WWII by a Swiss Baron's widow and children.
