Hi, for the Russian Hallmarks pages.
I’ve noticed that the Russian Assay Marks page has been updated, nice. However, I’d like to provide you with some more info about the assayers with which you can fill in some of the blanks.
Here it is:
ÐШ 1895 is Aleksander Timofeevich Sheviakov, St Petersburg 1895-1913
ВП 1886 is Vasily Alexandrovich Petrov, Moscow 1883-1893
ИК 1878 is Ivan Yefimovich Konstantinov, Moscow 1876-1882
ЛК 1831 could be Leonid Petrovich Kaminsky, St: Petersburg 1832-57 , 1856-62
OC or IC is also called Osip/Ios Stanislavovich Sosikovsky
ÐБ ??? How could Eduard Brandenburg been on three places at the same time??? To my knowledge he worked only in St Petersburg 1850-1866.
I'd like to suggest that in order to improve the identification of unidentified assayers would showing the town mark in connection with the assayer's mark help a lot.
