silver tea set

Postby kebutler1 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 9:36 am

Can anyone help me find information about this set I picked up at a a church rummage sale?

It has no other identifying marks besides the stamp 2204 on the bottom.

If you polish these pieces, you should be able to see Reed & Barton's mark just above the number. The company made three or four coffee/tea services in this aesthetic style with designs - and numbers - varying slightly. This was made in 1884 or 1885.
