Unknown "CS" Mark on meat tray

I am having trouble finding this mark. It seems like I looked all through silverplate by name, initial and so forth but I cannot seem to locate it. Any help is appreciated - thank you in advance.

This may be a chinese silverplate "CS" ,

Yes, it is CS, but it is the mark of an unidentified American silverplate company of the 20th century.

Tom, thank you for clarifying that it is an "unknown". I had a feeling it was but I figured it was worth a shot to get another pair of eyes on it.

I can add some more information to This. I also have A item with this marking. underneath The mark is etched " A I F " I needed a magnifying glass to see this.
