Need Help Identifying Mexican Bracelet C11 FEUFI ?

Postby rob h » Fri Aug 14, 2009 12:55 pm

I amtrying to identify the maker and date of the mexican sterling silver and onyx bracelet. It is stamped CII .925 Mexico and has a script signature that might be Feufi. The second photo below is the signature. All comments are appreciated. There is no eagle stamp so I amassuming its post 1975 ish.[img][/img]

CII is a newer manufacturer, 1990's-now. No post 1979 T mark becase those are artisan marks and this is a company.
I see it sold on home shopping channels. I think the other mark might be Luili or something like that. I've seen it before but never ID'd it and it's not in the books. It might be a designer that CII has in house.

C11 Caravantes

A web search revealed that the 2006 edition of "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks: Hecho en Mexico" on page 33 identifies C11 with CARAVANTES C-11. Mex. DF. I do not know if thats the designer or the jewelry house ?

I have the book, the C-11 is the number of the entry. It's the 11th designer's mark in the book in the C section, it has nothing to do with Caravantes.
