Rainwater has the timeframe for this naming of the company as 1857-1860, but this advertisment is taken from a Boston directory of 1855, so this name change took place at least a couple of years earlier than thought.

As we can see, the directors at this time were George B. Jones, N.C. Poor, Seth E. Brown and Benjamin Shreve.
