Sterling and Lapis cuff bracelet . KDM or KDH ... need help

Postby john_galt » Fri Jul 03, 2009 7:45 pm

Hello,

I need help trying to figure out the maker of this Modernist / Nouveau Sterling and Lapis cuff. As you can see by the pics, it's marked STER (obviously for sterling) followed by the initials KDM or KDH and maybe a copyright symbol? Not sure .......... anyone out there know? Thank

I see a copyright mark so most likely a manufacturer. Could it be KBN? That is Kabana jewelry and the design is something I can see them doing.

Thanks for the reply.

I actually looked at it with a loop, and it looks more like some sort of symbol rather than a copyright mark.

The inside of the bracelet is all hand hammered, so I don't think that it's a production piece.............. but I'll check out KBN.

Thanks again.

I'm fairly certain it's a cast piece, not hand hammering. You see that texture on a lot of cast items. I sold this piece that I know was cast by a manufacturer.
