12 mark - help needed with the country/region of origin

Postby jackk » Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:56 am

I came across a "12" mark with a maker's mark that i cannot identify. My guess is that it will be Ukraine or Lithuania, but I am not certain. Any help?

Jackk,
A little small, how do you read the lettering?

This is the only image I have. I am including the same image but resized.
I am not sure about the letters. They may be written in old Cyrillic script. I can barely read Cyrillic, but this seem to be written in cursive, which makes it even more difficult. First letter seems to be "T", one before last "d".
...or I am totally wrong with my assumption and this is just a strange combination of latin letters.
By the way, these marks are on the box that is most likely of German, Poland or Eastern European origin.
