Sterling Pendant marked EME or EMC. Who is this & how o

This is a 2 3/4" sterling Aztec Calendar pendant. Can you identify the maker and the approximate age of this piece? I believe the mark reads EME (note the E in Sterling), but it could also read EMC (note the C in Mexico) Thanks for any help you can offer....I can't seem to find these combinations of letters listed anywhere for Mexican silver artists. (There may also be a 4th initial, but I can't be certain.)

Hello and welcome.

Billie Hougart's book shows EME used a number 83 eagle mark.
He does not identify who the silversmith was.
Your newer style eagle mark dates it to roughly c.1955 - 1980.
