hallmark identification

Hello to Everyone.

I´m new in this forum, so please forgive me if this is not the right place to ask. I have a very complete set of silver cutlery, but have no idea of its precise procedence or date. We have looked up all along this web site, but couldn´t identify the hallmark among the photographs shown. Could anyone give me any help about this?

I´m including here a couple of photographs of the hallmark and a simplified drawing of it, together with a picture with some of the pieces conforming the set.

That is the mark of the Swiss manufacturer, Jezler.

Hi Juan,

Only a guess, but with carbon steel blades, I would say you were talking about a date of pre-1920.

Jezler introduced this pattern "Perles" (Pearls) in the 1920, the pattern is still in production.
This specific way of hallmarking, the jezler coat of arms and the 800 together in one stamp, was in use from around 1890 to the 1920ies. So I must support dognose in his judgement. Your set is from the early 1920ies.

Dear all.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I'm quite surprised about the age of the set, I didn't expect it to be that old. One further question, in case you have a minute, is the following: do you have any idea why the hallmark has a "0800", and not simply "800"? The photographs of the kind my brothers and I have found omit the first zero in the hallmark.
