Help Identifying Marks on Candle Sticks

Postby WNCgirl » Mon Jan 19, 2009 11:22 pm

Hi!

I am assuming these candlesticks are British silver, because that's where my grandmother's family came from. I've searched the website, but can't find this mark anywhere. Can you help? Thank you so much in advance.

Can I suggest you search all over the stick for other marks as those in themselves do not seem to reveal anything to me... maybe to someone else.
If there are other marks please post them. Best wishes, Mike.

Hi Mike!

Thank you for your response. I have looked ALL over both candle sticks.. with a magnifying glass. I can't find any other marks. Only the marks I posted... they are identical inside both candle holders.

They have been in my family for generations. I've been trying to find something.. anything.. out about them for years...and, so far no luck!

I suppose it's possible they aren't Britsh silver...but, if not.. I wouldn't begin to know where else they may be from.

I do appreciate your reply! Have a blessed rest of the week.

Cindy
