Is this one more "Heimburger" ?

Postby Denis_S » Sat Oct 25, 2008 5:23 pm

Can anybody help me understand this:

http://www.925-1000.com/dmH.html
"Heimburger - Fritz S. Heimburger - Copenhagen 1925-1948"

But I have tea pot with Heimburger mark, but under "Three Tower Mark" I look 1920 year.

Hi,
It is certainly 1920, either Heimberger was producing before 1925 without yet registering his maker's mark or it was a typo in the old Force.dk database.

Fritz S.C. Heimbürger is active from 1898 to 1948. His mark is FSH.

We have guardein mark CFH - so try to read mark letter by letter. To confirm that it says Heimburger. When it does we most conclude that he started in his fathers business and etc.

Bit hard to tell with the chattered mark, but could it perhaps be an overstrike?

I have a tea strainer with a very very clear mark CFH
"Christian Fr. Heise"
Heimburger
and a very clear three tower date mark of 1919.
He was active longer than was first thought.
