Sterling Bowl or Mould with Patent # and odd mark

Postby eglass » Sat Oct 25, 2008 11:41 am

Hello!

I have a 10" bowl that I am wondering about. It is shaped something like a mould, with indentations in the bottom. The marks are as shown, only "sterling", "patented 3855 10i" and a little pictorial mark.

I'll also include a photo of the motif used on the front on the reticulated rim.

Any info would be most appreciated.

Hello.

Can't see the mark well enough to be sure.
Might be Dominick & Haff, check here:
