Postby DDW » Sun Aug 17, 2008 11:01 pm

Hi,
I am looking for any info on this. There is a covered oval bowl and a tray. Marked as shown.
Thanks!

I've been digging more. Is that Reed & Barton? If so, I thought the USA used 925 as the standard for sterling. What would the C be for?
Thanks.

the 875 is a design number - "C" perhaps refers to its being "covered". the designation "STERLING" is what you usually see on american sterling.
