Would like help IDing Makers Mark on Sterling Childs Fork

Hello, I would like any help ID'ing the manufacturer & age of this sterling child's fork. Measures 4 7/8" long. Thank you!

The mark is sideways on the spoon, it's a crown and cross.

It took me a few minutes to see it, how come two thirds of it is missing? seems like a weird way of marking it.
