Is this a Bernard Cuzner Jewelry piece?

Postby jcm » Fri May 23, 2008 10:16 pm

I was just wondering an opinion or if someone has seen these . I seem to think Bernard Cuzner. As I know he did allot of silver pieces and allot were jewelry pieces.
The mark is BC(I think)
Is it him or who is it.
thanks again

I'm inclined to think they're by Bersztynowe Centrum (Amber Center), a wholesaler of sterling and amber jewelry.

Hi JCM,
Like the ring & earrings you recently asked about, these are also from Poland or another country on the Baltic coast and made within the last few years.

Bernard Cuzner (1877-1956) was a very accomplished jeweler and silversmith working in the Arts & Crafts style, his most notable work is from c.1900 to 1915. You can see a beautiful example of his work at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London website.

type in cuzner - in the artist/designer box, then click search.
It is worth the time.

Regards, Tom
