Please help ID this sterling spoon

This one says 925, 1000, an animal figure, Sterling, Patent 1895. Any idea what the mark is? Also what might this spoon have been designed for with its 5 segmented sections?

Thanks so much.

An easy one. Towle, Old Colonial. Usually pointy teaspoons are called Citrus spoons or Grapefruit or Orange spoons. Take your pick.
