Please help in identifying purse

I have an old purse stamped HHCCO German Silver. I don't much about this item. How old it is and what the initials stand for.
If anyone can help me I would highly appreciate it. Thanks so much

Looks like a lovely bag made of alpacca aka "german silver".
A material which shines but is not silver at all.

tho this is not silver it can be cleaned up very nicely with a liquid cleaner such as goddards.

use an old nail brush that has become useless for the job - the bristles will be soft enough to be used here. lay it on a plate and pour the goddards on the brush, then gently brush front and back. rinse off, wash off with a gentle soap (that will remove traces of jeweller's rouge in the cleaner) and polish dry with an old flannel. it will be bright and shiny - just the way you might like it.
