Help with makers mark ND

Can somebody help me with the maker of this sigarette box?
The "N" and the "D" are stick together.
This looks to me like a sigarette box, made in the 50's.

Hello, I would attribute this to Nicolay & Duncker from Hanau. They were wholesalers, so the actual maker is most likely someone else. Best wishes, Bahner.
