I have a silverplate bowl (made by the International Silver Co.) that had some sort of red dye used on it, possibly a grease pencil to mark a price directly on the silver. I believed that simple polishing would remove this, but I have been proved wrong. The stain has spread and persists. Can anyone help, please? :< Hutchy
