Anyone Know anything about.......

Hello,
I have recently been given this watch by a family member and I wanted to learn a bit more about it as they didn't have any knowledge on this item and I was keen to know a little bit about it.

Looking through websites, the only thing I can identify is that the watch is Sterling .925 Silver but thats about it.

If anyone can give me any information on when it was made, who by etc it would be very much appreciated.

Hello.
The sterling silver watch case is marked for London, 1883.
The JM maker's mark was used by John Manger. First entered on November 18, 1878.
