Wallace & Sons Marking?

Postby sol7 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 7:21 pm

I have a spoon with a very worn makers mark. To me it looks like RW&S stamped in front of the Sterling mark. Maybe somebody else can take a look and see if I'm seeing correctly or not. Also, if you happen to know the pattern, that would be great.

I think that is the Wallace mark. The pattern looks like "Engraved No. 2", from 1890. I hope this helps.
