German Footed Bowl

Here is a footed centerpiece bowl we believe is from Germany. There are two marks on this bowl. We have looked through Tardy's book multiple times, and the first mark looks similar to that of Augsburg. Also, we note that Tardy only shows marks for Augsburg until 1790/1800. Are there further references for Augsburg marks from 1800 - 1886 (when the crescent moon/crown became mandatory in Germany)?

We are almost certain we have seen the maker's mark before, but can not remember where. Perhaps someone will recognize these marks to help identify and date this bowl. Any information or insight would be appreciated.

The marks are pseudo-marks used in Hanau, Germany in the first quarter of the 20th century. Based on both my own research of these specific marks and the floral-garland style of the piece, I feel confident that your bowl is by Georg Roth & Co., founded 1891 and working at least until 1919.

blakstone — We thought this may be a Hanau silver piece, but were unsure. The workmanship executed is of reasonably high quality, and thus this bowl must be an early piece of Georg Roth & Co.
