Identy Sterling Mark on Neo Gothic Salt shaker

Could someone pls tell me something about this sterling mark... it is a pair of crossed swords, that's all, no shield, crown or lettering. thanks.

There was a Fenniman Company, New York City, that used a similar mark.
In business during the first quarter of the 20th century.
