Bruckmann & Söhne Suttgart souvenir spoon.

Postby Z3BigDaddy » Mon Jan 21, 2008 11:21 pm

I have acquired a souvenir spoon marked Stuttgart with the Stuttgart horse shield up top and an engraving in the bowl, see pic.... When doing the research I found many similar but not exact hallmarks. On another site I found a very close example attributed to J.W. Paulman & Shohn. At this site, which is great btw, I see five Bruckmann & Söhne variations very close to mine... Is it hand grenades and horse shoes or am I looking for exact match? I apologize in advance if my picture is too large but I did combine the required two pics into one.

Hello and congrats, interesting piece. There are many variations of the Bruckmann eagle. Yours is one of them, no doubt this is Bruckmann. Best wishes, Bahner
