Help with German swan mark plez

Hope the pics are good enough marked with 2 tiny swans appears to have an H ? above the rear.... what age ? any idea the maker ??? Clock is Henry Capt Geneve .... Any help much appreciated.... Thnx, S

That's a fine looking clock.
I enhanced your picture of the swan marks.

Hi,

It looks very much as the one in this thread, it's a French import mark on watches. It was also struck on items that were in public sale (an auction I presume). Used from 1893 till ca. 1970 (see Tardy).

I think what is confusing to me is the German hallmark... the cresent and crown is German right? The other little mark may be a Weevil????

Hi,

It is not so confusing. The clock was made in Germany (or atleast the case) and remarked in France.
