Swiss Silver Mark?

Postby bhoffman57 » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:40 pm

I bought this watch a while back. It is a Gruen and was cased in switzerland and sold in Europe (a WWII sailor bought it in Ireland and brought it to America in 43). It says .800 as the silver content and says GRUEN Watch cased in switzerland . The mark (sorry about the picture quality looks like the initials HF. The watch was made in the 1920's.
