Naked Lady - Unknown Hallmarks on French Matchsafe

Hello!

I would like to know some details of this nice matchsafe, eg. the time of origin, etc.

From the word "DEPOSE" I assign the item to France.

But I can not decode the other three hallmarks.
Is there somebody out there who can help me?
A reference to the TARDY book would be great. I am learning ;-)

Hi,

It is French Art Nouveau (ca.1900) and with a .800 purity.

Do you know why the hallmark next to DEPOSE is embossed twice? Is that common or even rule?

And what is the single 'triangle' shaped hallmark showing? I can not make it out, even with reference to the French hallmarks.

Hi,

The hallmarking rules in France are very complex with regard to the placement of the marks. There are dozens of pages, in French, to go through to get some idea.

I think the boar's head (see: French Hallmarks) was stamped twice to indicate that the item was made from 2 main parts.

The triangle mark is probably the makers mark (part of a lozenge), but It is too unclear for my glasses.

Silberdosen,
If you could post a larger image of the maker's mark, or at least a description of the letters and symbol in the lozenge, we may be able to identify the maker.
