Sylvanus E. Lamprey, a young man well known in North Attleboro, and an employee in the spoon department of F. M. Whiting & Co. , was married on Monday last to Miss Hattie Downs, daughter of the late Charles Downs formerly a well known jeweler of Providence. The wedding took place at the house of the bride's uncle, Mr. J. M. Richards, and the couple have disappeared to spend their honeymoon.

James H. Carley, an employee of F. M. Whiting Co., will make a two months visit to his friends in England. He was the recipient of a fine gold headed cane and silver handled umbrella last week from his fellow workmen in the Whiting Co.
